“You shoot my wolf, old man, I’ll cut your balls off!”

Celeste was in her own dream world struggling to awake, but all she could see is darkness.  “Hialeah, wake up.”  Her spirit called out to her. Celeste dangled from the tree for over thirty more minutes.  “Wake up, Wake up!”  her spirit warned her.  “Hummm…” she mumbled trying to come out of the daze feeling.

“Ouch,”  Celeste mumble while hanging upside down.  “Oooo,” she spoke again when she felt someone tugging, and pulling at her hair.  Slowly she tried to open her eyes.  Blurry vision, unable to open one of her eyes, she raised her hand to her face.  Wiping her hand above her brow, she felt wet and sticky, yet sore to the touch.  Her head was bashing and pounding with pain.  Wolf jumped in the air again, grabbed a chunk of her hair, pulling some of her hair out, to awake his hanging friend. “Wolf,” Celeste groggily stated.

She tried to open her eyes, but one was closed shut, bloody and swollen.  Trying with all her might to focus, she heard wolf become angry.  Growling and barking, Celeste concentrated on her vision. Then she heard a loud roar.  Wolf was in protective mode, he went crazy attacking the large bear.  There was nothing Celeste could do but hang, as she watched wolf try to get the bear away from her.

Wolf lost it, when the big bear took a swipe at Celeste hanging upside down.  He jumped into the arms of the bear, biting and ripping fur out of the bear’s body. While the bear put Wolf into a deadly bear hug.  Wolf yelped in pain when the bear bit off his ear.  Celeste heard another gunfire echo in the forest, bringing the two beast to separate. She watched the bear take off, while Wolf panted and whined with pain underneath her.

“Oh, my boy.  Wolf…go, go…save yourself.  A hunter…go to Quad.  Wolf, go protect Quad.” Celeste was exhausted, her head felt like a two ton Tessy.   Wolf refused, and stood under her in security stance, baring his teeth at the approaching figure in the woods. Celeste wiggled her body to turn in the direction the wolf was guarding.  Each move she made, sent bolts of pain throughout her body. The cable wire that suspended her in the air, dug deeper into her ankle with each movement.  she could make out a dark figure coming towards her with a gun. The man figure stopped, and prepped himself to shoot at the wolf.

Wolf was ready to pounce on the man, when Celeste spoke out in a dangerous tone,  “You shoot my wolf, old man, I’ll cut your balls off!”  Wolf looked up at Celeste as a few drops of her blood dropped upon the wolf’s bloody face. “Go Wolf, go to Quad…NOW!”  Wolf knew what she was saying but didn’t want to leave her.  “WOLF…GO…QUAD!”  She tried to be firm, but her world was becoming darker by the minute. “Wolf, please my son!”  She whimpered.  She watch wolf give the stranger a dangerous snarl, then took off towards their campsite.

She took a deep breath of relief, then turned her attention to the old man that looked up at her. The one eye old man, had a long deep scar, running down his left side of his face to his neck.  Stars flooded Celeste’s vision, unable to stay alert, she passed out again from exhaustion, and too much blood in the head.
